July 2005 - My largest single poker cash came in the £250 entry Scottish Championships with a 4th place finish for £3500.

September 2005 - Myself and Allan went on a trip to Swansea to take part in the Welsh Masters which meant a £100 Rebuy tournie on the Friday night and a £250 freezeout main event on Saturday and Sunday. Both of us struggled to do anything in the £100 event but the main event resulted in a 7th place finish for me and Allan went out in a very creditable 3rd - he played some exceptional poker that weekend, rarely showed a hand. It was this tournie where I sat next to famous snooker players Mark Williams and Mathew Stevens with the latter being a great guy and a good laugh.

October 2005 - When two guys are gambling well, there is only one thing to do....Viva Las Vegas! 24 hour poker action with the variation in the day being a switch from tournament to cash game poker or a change of venue. I hit a streak there and ran my $2400 spending money up to over $5000 with only a few days left. I then played in a $1000 and a $1500 tournie at the Bellagio which included players like TJ Cloutier & Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson. I wont mention my performance as it was pretty awful..must have been the lights.

November 2005 - Decided to give work a miss for a while and live from whatever earnings I made at poker...much to the dismay of my folks back home and the girlfriend thought I was nuts.

Nov 05 - Dec 06 - Recorded total profit of £32,800 between online and live game performances. Split was approx £20k online, £12,800 live.

November 2006 - Trip to Walsall to play in the support events for the Midlands Grosvenor Poker Tour and if I got lucky I would play in the £1000 main event. Started with a £300 freezeout event and a good solid display saw me finish 20th out of around 180 but only the top 18 got paid..was gutted. The £500 double chance event saw me being totally card dead but the crazy early moves and patience saw me last until the last 50 or so but it just wasn't going to be my day from the off.

Jan 07 - Mar 07 - Recorded a total profit of -£2,500 and thanks to my expensive tastes had no money left.

April 2008 - Sarahw1 or Sarahw makes his return to the poker tables, fingers crossed its a succesful one. Postponed until further notice!

July 2010 - Wins $12,450,000 in the WSOP main event after beating Patrick Antonius heads up...then loses it all on black.....
