History

The stable was formed in April 2006 with a deposit of £30 or thereabouts.

I began with the first notable horse being pkr stallion who by today's standard was awfull but i persisted anyway not knowing any better and the horse did manage a few wins before he was finally put to stud. The only ring bought horse still alive today is Pkr Flushed who has been a consistent 1000m G2 runner and will be 6 from April 08.

To begin with every horse the stable bought began with pkr and used poker terminologies like joker, trips, king & player. Its one of the toughest things to do in the game is come up with decent names..most of the good ones are already taken. Especially, if your buying 40 horses...you'll spend an hour sitting staring at the screen racking your brains for a decent name! My favourite name is Calumn Junior named after my cousin and his son but reminds me of the real horse David Junior who was a pretty sweet colt in his time.

Season by Season

Season One - The first raceable horses in Top o the League and So Far Behind were purchased & I was picking up more and more bonus credits which allowed the stable to grow a little. Also, used this to purchase cheap claimers and auction horses to grow the stable.

Season Two - Continued to grow the stable and made some notable investments at auction time by buying Ok Ish, Engage Warpspeed, Little Mosey & Eagle of War. Quite a few purchased from the ring, including Norbit who became my first horse capable of competing in Grade One races. Ok Ish recorded a fine second in the stables first challenge final race.

Season Three - Utilising the 100+ horses at the start of the season the stable quickly grew too big to handle and finally started selling in auctions. The birth of Betty Boot was massive and she got the first Challenge final win of the stables career. Brians Pride complimented that with some good qualifier runs / wins and a place in a final.

Season Four - Splashed the cash a bit this season with many good G1 purchases as well as challenge runners like Kings Revenge, Multimillionaires & Ignite My Pocket. Time constraints restricted me from racing more of the horses and I even had to start selling a few to free up some time! Baywatch Barbie proved B classes can be fruitfull with an almost £100 profit from the filly.

Season Five - The season had big hopes with plenty bonus credits saved up ready to buy 2 yr olds plus a few 4 yr olds who have been patiently waiting on low wins but poor ring purchases and only Olympic Hero from the auction meant a relatively poor season with Brians Pride full field qualifier win, Complex Demons Conso win and Betty Boot continued competitiveness the highlights.

Season Six - With little new blood, no notable auction purchases and a busy time at work a very quiet season was had. The challenge horses were all saved for their last conso's etc however only Brians Pride recorded success. Maverick Marcus did record two qualifier wins however but the best horse from the ring was a late bloomer in Charming, a 2 year C class 1000m Filly who did record an excellent WCD win for £58.31 to round off the season.

Season Seven - The plan for this season is to run all out with the challenge types especially the six and seven year olds and use the cash to bring in some talented 2 year olds with the plan being to increase quality rather than quantity. Unfrotunately, the ring hasn't been kind so it is likely that auction purchases will again be required.
